Feature Spotlight: Superhuman Calendar

When your calendar can't keep up with your inbox, you lose focus and waste hours on back-and-forths.

That's why Superhuman is building an AI-native calendar that works right from your inbox β€” with powerful new ways to schedule faster, stay in flow, and stay in control.

In a recent live event, Matt Waters, Ashley Slover, and Ben Baldwin from the Superhuman team demoed the latest features and gave a sneak peek at what's next.

Here are the highlights...

See your schedule at a glance

When any email mentions a date, Superhuman will show your day in the right side panel β€” so you always have context.

To see your full calendar, just hit 2 or tap the calendar icon. (And hit 1 to jump back to your inbox.)

You can add all your Gmail and Outlook account calendars, and easily toggle them on and off. One single, consolidated view when you need it β€” for work, personal, and that side hustle or book club.

Working across time zones? Add a secondary time zone, so scheduling between San Francisco and New York (or London and Tokyo) is effortless.

The result: no more tab-juggling and context-switching. A calendar that's as fast and seamless as your Superhuman inbox.

Find time with your team in seconds

Finding time to meet shouldn't take as long as a meeting.

With Find Time, the usual scheduling headaches are gone. Find time takes care of time zones, multiple schedules, and how rapidly team availability changes.

Simply add teammates, click "Find Time", and instantly see when everyone is free. Superhuman will show you availability across calendars, with options that work for everyone. Pick your slot and the meeting is booked, complete with a meeting link.

Schedule meetings at the speed of thought

Ask AI is like a personal assistant in your inbox.

Ask AI works with your calendar (and your inbox and the web), so it can schedule for you β€” just ask!

Type what you need, such as "Create a team sync every Monday at 10am with my direct reports".

Ask AI handles everything: event titles, times, attendees, locations, and even recurring events. It also adds your default Zoom, Meet, or Teams link automatically.

From a thought to done.

Book without breaking flow

Sometimes you realize you need a meeting while you’re in the middle of an email.

Normally that would mean breaking your flow, opening your calendar, and jumping between tabs to check and copy & paste details.

With Instant Event, scheduling is simple as pressing B. Superhuman automatically:

  • Creates an event from the context of your email
  • Pulls in the attendees from the thread
  • Suggests a time
  • Adds your meeting link

Hit save and you're done. No lost focus, no wasted time.

Share your availability without oversharing

Back-and-forth scheduling emails are one of the biggest time sinks in work.

With Share Availability, you can offer your time while staying in full control. Simply select the slots that work for you, click to insert them into your email, and send.

Your recipient sees a booking link with only those options, so you don't have to share your entire calendar. The link:

  • Updates in real-time as your schedule changes
  • Adapts to their time zone automatically
  • Lets them pick the slot that works best

You stay in control, while making it effortless for others to find time with you.

What’s next for Superhuman calendar?

The team is building around three principles: readiness, speed, and trust. Ben highlighted some examples of what's to come:

  • AI Meeting Prep: Get context before every meeting β€” from who's attending to what was discussed last time.
  • Saveable Booking Links: Easily reuse common booking flows, e.g. for interviews, sales demos, or training sessions.
  • Smarter AI Scheduling: Clear your day with a single command like "Reschedule my Thursday", or set rules like "No in-person meetings on travel days".

Superhuman calendar will keep getting faster, smarter, and more responsive. Want the latest news from our Product team? Check here.
