Superhuman to Acquire Rows to Strengthen Its All-in-One AI Workspace

Today, we’re announcing that Superhuman has agreed to acquire Rows, which has built technology that connects spreadsheets directly to business tools and brings AI into everyday data workflows. We’re excited to welcome their team as we continue expanding Superhuman as an AI productivity platform for apps and agents.

The Rows team developed capabilities that simplify complex data work through live integrations, no-code plain-language automation, and an AI data analyst built directly into the experience. Their work enabled a direct path from raw information to usable insights. This focus on enhancing productivity through connected, accessible data aligns closely with where we’re taking Coda. Coda already brings documents, tables, and workflows together in its all-in-one workspace. As more decisions depend on live data, collaboration and analysis can’t sit apart. Rows spent years solving this exact problem: making sophisticated data tools available to teams without requiring deep technical expertise. Bringing that experience into Superhuman expands what Coda can enable for data-driven teams.

This acquisition reinforces our approach to building Superhuman as an AI productivity platform for apps and agents. The Superhuman Suite brings Grammarly, Coda, Mail, and Go into one AI-native system, with intelligent agents working across these products. Within that system, Coda plays an integral role as the workspace where teams plan, build, and execute. As we build on this foundation, the Rows team will strengthen Coda’s ability to connect collaborative work with data analysis.

Upon completion of the acquisition, the Rows team will join Superhuman from Porto, Portugal, where they are currently based. We're excited to welcome our new colleagues and connect with Porto's vibrant tech talent community as we continue to expand our European presence alongside our existing hubs in Berlin, Warsaw, and Kyiv.
